Office Manager

Born and raised in Southern California, Kimber holds a B.A. in Fashion Merchandising from California State University, Long Beach. She has worked in outside sales in the beauty industry, and also in print media and medical transcription. Kimber and her family have been patients of Dr. Hanschu’s since 1999. Her strong belief in providing great customer service made her a perfect fit for managing the front office. In her spare time, Kimber is busy running her two boys around to all of their activities and spending time with her husband.

Front Office Administrator


Jennifer came to our office with retail and customer service experience. After more than 20 years in the dental field, she is a true expert in dental procedures, billing and insurance. Jennifer is a graduate of Del Campo High School and a prior attendee of American River College. She is married with a dog and two cats.

Dental Hygienist

Paulina attended USC graduating with a degree in dental hygiene in 2000. She joined our team in 2016. Paulina enjoys helping patients achieve optimal dental health with thorough, but comfortable professional care. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, hiking, reading and walking her dog.

Joyce has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1987, when she graduated from Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA. She has worked with our patients since 1998. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband, and two dogs.

Carol’s first job in dentistry was sterilizing instruments in the office where her sister worked. She loved the dental office environment and quickly pursued the training needed to become a dental assistant. She went back to school in 2000 to become a dental hygienist. When not working she enjoys time with her husband and helping with her daughter’s activities including serving as a Brownie Troop Leader.

Dental Hygienist

Amy joined our dental hygiene team in August 2017. She worked as a registered dental assistant for 9 years before returning to school and graduating as a dental hygienist in 2003. Amy feels that her experience as a dental assistant gives her a depth of understanding of dental procedures and the ability to answer patients’ questions when needed. Originally from Fair Oaks, she now lives in Folsom and enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Registered Dental Assistant

Christina is a Registered Dental Assistant and has worked in Dr. Hanschu’s office since 1998. Christina holds a B.A. in biology from California State University, Sacramento. Her understanding of science makes her uniquely qualified to be in charge of our infection control systems and OSHA compliance. She is very passionate about dentistry and is always learning new ways to help patients prevent decay. She enjoys yoga, running and wakeboarding. Christina and her husband have two boys that keep them very busy.

Registered Dental Assistant


Marie joined our team as the assistant to the dental hygienists in 2016. She graduated from Carrington College in 2015 after completing the dental assisting program. Marie enjoys boogie boarding, kayaking on the American River, winter sledding in Lake Tahoe and spending time with her large family. She has lived in the Sacramento area since 2008.

Registered Dental Assistant

Alexis began working in our office in 2008. She started as an assistant to the hygienists, but before long was trained in dental assisting. Alexis was proud to become a Registered Dental Assistant in 2017. She is continuing to expand her skills and has taken a special interest in learning to use the CEREC crown milling machine. When not at work, Alexis enjoys working out to stay fit, and spending time with family and friends.

Registered Dental Assistant

Lindsey is a Registered Dental Assistant who has been working in our office since 2004. She enjoys working with patients, doing behind the scenes work in our dental lab. Outside the office, Lindsey loves line dancing, golf, yoga and snowboarding.

Scheduling Coordinator

Heather worked in preschools before joining our front office team. Heather’s mother is a dental hygienist so she was already familiar with the dental field. She is primarily in charge of scheduling for the dental hygienists, but has also learned to assist in many other front office duties. In her spare time Heather likes spending time with her husband and young son.
